Will you accept pre-business students?
Answer:  Yes, although preference is given to seniors and graduate students.

Is the class size limited?
Answer: No.

Are undergraduate students allowed to take the course for a letter grade?
Answer:  No. It is only offered on a credit/no-credit basis for undergraduates.

Are internships paid?
Answer:  Approximately 60% of the internship positions are paid, but students should select an internship based on the professional learning potential and not the pay status.

Are there paid internships that last year round?
Answer:   Yes. Some employers offer year-round (two semester) internships, otherwise known as cooperative education opportunities. What if I don't need the course credit, but I'd like the experience?
Answer:  A limited number of employers offer internships that are not for credit. Talk with the Internship Director at Internship and Career Development at the Shidler College of Business for more information.

Do I get to choose the internship company?
Answer:  Students may request a specific company. However, there is no guarantee of having an internship at that company.

Do some of the firms offer jobs to interns?
Answer:  Yes, but only to those students who do very well during the internship.
