Career Development

The Career Development Office at the Shidler College of Business assists students in finding career-related internships and suitable full-time employment upon graduation. Offering an extensive on-campus interview program, career fairs and workshops, our office is dedicated to assisting our students in their career growth and development and to helping employers identify and select highly qualified candidates.

We provide a broad range of services to enhance our students' employment marketability. From career search and information sources to skills development workshops, we seek to educate, train and advise our students to ensure successful preparation for entry in the business job market, and assist students in making the right career decisions.

We work hard to create, maintain, and strengthen business and alumni connections to create a link between recruiters and students, in order to maximize the potential for successful internship and permanent job placement.

The Shidler College of Business strives to offer more services at the highest quality possible. Our office has developed a new program called “Business of the Week”. We will host businesses at the College of Business on a weekly basis throughout the Fall and Spring Semesters. During their visit, businesses are invited to hold presentations, interviews, and workshops.
