The Office of Internships and Career Development welcomes you to the Shidler College of Business website.  What you will find on this website are opportunites for you to link up with our office through our Internship and Career Development programs. 

Looking to hire an intern for your company?

There's no better place to look than the Shidler College of Business for qualified and committed interns.  By sponsoring an internship with us you are keeping the links strong between the Business Community and University. 

This relationship between Business and Shidler College of Business is a guiding philosophy in our educational program by balancing academics wtih a practical on work experience.  By providing an opportunity for our soon to be graduates, they will be able to:

  1. hone their skills to your particular industry demands,
  2. familiarize themselves with real world operations and procedures for projects that you need completed.

Enhance your labor pool and increase your company productivity with our intern pool that includes:

  • students in their Junior/Senior year Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, MIS, Management, Real Estate, Accounting 
  • students in the Master's program in Accountancy or MBA's

It's a win win situation!  Often these students will soon enter the job market and their situation is improved by undergoing an internship experience.  In turn they provide you with a built in set of skills developed through the high academic standards placed upon by the faculty here at Shidler College of Business.
